Woman arrested in SunTrust robbery
A woman suspected of robbing a Macon bank earlier in the week was arrested Friday, according to news release from the Macon Police Department.
Following a tip from Crimestoppers, Macon Police Department detectives and the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 26-year-old Tameskia Nicole Moore Friday at her home in College Park, the release stated.
The 4:40 p.m. arrest was made in conjunction with the Wednesday robbery at SunTrust Bank on Vineville Avenue.
“This arrest is an example of an excellent combined effort,” Macon Police Chief Mike Burns stated in the release. “As was mentioned shortly after the bank robbery occurred on Wednesday, it was a matter of time until we caught and arrested this suspect.”
Moore was transported to the Bibb County LEC and charged with one count armed robbery, the release stated.
