WRALC command change to be in November

The commanding general of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center is slated to turn over command of the installation in November.

Maj. Gen. Polly Peyer will hand over the reins of the 18,000-member WRALC to Maj. Gen. Robert H. McMahon during a ceremony scheduled for Nov. 19. Peyer took over as commander in August 2008.

McMahon, 32-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, is currently director of Logistics, deputy chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support for the Air Force in Washington, D.C.

Peyer plans to officially retire on Jan. 1, 2011.
