Snowfall in Georgia helped the Monroe Police Department capture a burglary suspect.

Jabbarrius Green, 28, of Monroe, left foot prints in the snow after he allegedly committed a burglary, according to a Monroe Police Department post Wednesday on Facebook.

Police tracked Green down by those footprints and charged him with burglary, the post said. What was stolen was recovered.

"We ask you to stay off the roadways and to stay out of other folk's houses," the post said.

Witnessing a crime and reporting it can be just as frightening as being the victim of a crime. Here’s what you should do if you witness illegal activity.
