At the routine inspection of Little Caesars on Russell Parkway, numerous prepped cheese pizzas were sitting on a counter with temperatures above what’s required for food safety, according to the inspection report.

Other violations included:

  • Several prepped containers of pizza sauces and bulk container pizza sauces inside a walk-in cooler were not date marked as required
  • A food handler with a beard greater than one-half inch in length was prepping food items without a required beard restraint
  • There were no paper towels at two hand-washing sinks inside the main kitchen and in the restroom
  • The outside dumpster had both side doors open with trash stored inside instead of being closed to prevent attracting pests
  • A new door sweep was needed for the back door
  • The front door was not closing completely with the self closure mechanism needing adjustment.

Meanwhile, most Warner Robins, Centerville and Perry restaurants earned “A’s” on their routine inspections, with multiple earning perfect scores of 100 during the March 1-31 reporting period.
