How to get free wings for a year at new Buffalo Wild Wings Go in Warner Robins
A free-standing Buffalo Wild Wings Go in Warner Robins opened Monday without any fanfare.
But the grand opening is yet to come, and the more celebrated occasion will come with a special opportunity: The first 100 people inside the store at the 11 a.m. grand opening Saturday are expected to receive a coupon book for free wings for a year, said general manager Abhi Patel.
Also, police officers and firefighters are invited to eat free from noon to 4 p.m. this Thursday only, Patel said.
The new spot
Designed primarily for takeout and delivery, the new 1,350-square-foot Buffalo Wild Wings Go is the first to open in Middle Georgia.
The new spot has three tables for customers to wait for orders or dine-in if desired. There’s also a cushioned bench to wait for orders.
The Wild Wings Go locations are smaller than the main version of the popular sports bar chain Buffalo Wild Wings. The company opened its first Wild Wings Go in Atlanta in 2020. The 200th Buffalo Wild Wings Go opened earlier this month in Chicago.
With a focus on speed, efficiency and quality, the takeout and delivery spinoff locations offer wings, chicken sandwiches, burgers, hand-breaded tenders and all 21 Buffalo Wild Wings sauces and five dry rubs.
The sauces and rubs can be purchased in-store to use when cooking at home.
The new Buffalo Wild Wings Go is at 1012 Ga. 96, Suite 600, less than half a mile away from a competitor, a large Wild Wing Cafe off Lake Joy Road.
The Buffalo Wild Wings Go is in a new shopping center anchored by a Brown’s Eye Center that includes Decadent Dessert Bar, Tenmii Japanese Eatery and Luxe Nail Spa.
Franchise owner Samir “Sam” Patel chose the new plaza for the new Buffalo Wild Wings Go because of its “prime location.”
Two other restaurants are opening to the right of Buffalo Wild Wings. DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill is expected to open soon and Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza & Taproom in mid-September. Additionally, a Vita-Fuse is also expected to open in the shopping plaza.
In all, Patel expects to open six Buffalo Wild Wing Go locations. His first opened in Valdosta in late June. The Warner Robins location is his second to open.
He’s also opening six Jimmy John’s sandwich franchise shops in Florida. His first opened in Ocala, Florida. Additionally, Patel has two convenience stores/gas stations with Krispy Krunchy Chicken restaurants inside in the Savannah area.
Buffalo Wild Wings and its Buffalo Wild Wings Go spinoffs are owned by Atlanta-based Inspire Brands, a multi-brand restaurant company that also owns Arby’s, Sonic Drive-In, Jimmy John’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins chains.
A Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar across town is at 2926 Watson Blvd., Centerville, on an outparcel of the Houston County Galleria.
The new Buffalo Wild Wings Go off Ga. 96 is open 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. The number is 470-964-5228. Delivery orders may be placed through DoorDash.
