The results are in. This restaurant has the best seafood in Macon, according to your votes
After four rounds and hundreds of votes, you’ve finally picked a winner.
If the weekly poll results are any indication, choosing the winner wasn’t easy and in the final round, it was between Jim Shaw’s and Fish N’ Pig.
So, which restaurant won the delicious, savory bracket?
The best seafood restaurant in Macon, according to your votes is…
Here’s a breakdown of each round’s voting:
Seafood Bracket Breakdown
In round one, Jim Shaw’s and Kudzu took the first and second place spots with more than 80% of the vote. Fish N’ Pig came in third place with 4% of the votes.
Round two is where Fish N’ Pig started to ramp up the votes, as the restaurant got more than 30% of the vote. Jim Shaw’s yet again took first place in round two, with over 40% of the votes.
Round three, you guessed it, was ultimately between Jim Shaw’s, Fish N’ Pig and Kudzu, but with only 4% of the votes in this round, Kudzu was eliminated.
The final round was a serious nail-biter, as both Jim Shaw’s and Fish N’ Pig went head-to-head. All in all, Jim Shaw’s only received 37% of the votes, which means Fish N’ Pig got the W.
But really, we are the lucky ones, Macon. There were so many options for this bracket. In fact, we started the bracket with 24 seafood restaurants. So, there’s no shortage of shrimp, catfish or lobster around here.
