It's scientifically proven that seeing cute animals releases dopamine and makes you happier. And when that cute animal is probably the fluffiest kitten you could imagine? Well the dopamine will be off the charts!

TikTok user @gnocchiandbear shares their two British Longhaired Persian cats on social media. Bear, the black one of the two cats, recently showed off for the camera, loafing and bounding along the bed. Bear is absolutely adorable and also undeniably looks like the bounciest ball of lint.

Warning: The following video of Bear may, in fact, induce immediate-onset kitten fever.

"Feisty ball of lint"

"I can't believe it's real "

"My heart just fell on my stomach "

Suffice to say, Bear is precious and we're lucky he has graced our various screens with his adorable floof.

Grooming New Kittens

Getting your new kitten used to being groomed is a great way to ensure they're properly socialized and used to being handled. It's great to start this around two to seven weeks of age, so that hopefully you'll have an adult cat who is fully comfortable being groomed if need be.

Some Tips For Acclimating Your Kitten To Grooming:

  • Start when your kitten is already relaxed, not when they're amped up or playing
  • Keep initial sessions on the shorter side, no more than 10 minutes
  • Introduce tools like brushes and clippers slowly and with patience
  • Give rewards and treats for positive behavior
  • Always brush their hair in the direction of growth
  • Use cat-safe wipes or warm washcloths around the ears and eyes

With plenty of patience and time, you and your kitten will have a great relationship to grooming. It's a great way to get closer and a sweet way to bond with your little furry friend.
