On June 7, one of the biggest nights in theater takes center stage when the Tony Awards debut on CBS and Paramount+. Hosted this year by pop musician Pink, the best Broadway shows of the last year are honored in a night under the glittering lights of Radio City Music Hall. With a little over a week until the ceremony, here, read all there is to know about the Tony Awards 2026, including some of the most notable nominees, who is performing and Pink’s role as host.

Tony Awards 2026 host: Pink takes the lead

Pink, known for hit pop songs like “Raise Your Glass,” “So What,” “Don’t Let Me Get Me” and countless other radio staples, might not be the first person you think of when considering hosts of the Tony Awards, but the 46-year-old multitalented star is involved in Broadway in her own way. Two of her most popular tracks are currently a part of two shows on Broadway—”Raise Your Glass” being in Moulin Rouge! and “F—in’ Perfect” being in & Juliet.

“It is the honor of an entire lifetime to host a night celebrating the literal hardest working people in showbiz,” said Pink in a statement. “Broadway has shaped my life and how I put my own shows together—it is a community that is supportive and inclusive, and full of talent and love. These people give magic every single day, and I cannot wait to celebrate them with the entire world.”

“When I was asked to host the Tonys, I immediately thought, ‘I have to get permission from my daughter,’” the singer shared. “I’ve never been on Broadway, and shouldn’t you have to have been on Broadway in order to host? That seems fair and right. But when I asked my daughter, she was really excited about being able to have a ticket to go to the Tonys, so I’m hosting the Tonys and I’m really, really, excited and very nervous because that girl is a tough crowd!”
