Claude Lemieux Owned a Furniture Showroom in Lake Park, Florida, With His Wife Deborah Lemieux
According to The Athletic, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office told The Athletic that deputies "responded early Thursday morning to a suicide attempt at a furniture showroom."
The news outlet reported that the showroom is located in Lake Park, FL, "and is owned by Lemieux and his wife, Deborah. The Sheriff's Office secured the business for investigation."
The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that Lemieux had died but would not release records to The Athletic due to laws governing deaths by suicide.

According to TMZ, one of the Stanley Cup champ's sons found him at the warehouse around 3 a.m. when he didn't return home. The story doesn't say which son found Lemieux deceased, however. One of his sons, Brendan, is also a professional hockey player who has most recently competed for a team in Switzerland.
