Dining is another place to save during a trip to Disney. "Bringing nonperishable snacks is another way to keep food costs down," Mahnken says.
Travel and Leisure adds, "Another top tip? Adults should consider ordering off the children's menu. While it's off limits at table-service restaurants, it's fair game at casual dining locations, and the portions are often large enough to satisfy."
So, if you're planning a trip to Disney in the future, these are tips that could make it easier on your pocketbook. They apply to visiting other travel destinations, as well, especially the idea of taking snacks to save on food spending.
