Caitlin Clark Asks to Take Photo of Reporters

Caitlin Clark is gearing up for her third WNBA season as an All-Star point guard for the Indiana Fever.

At the end of her media session after Wednesday's training camp practice, Clark had an unusual request for reporters.

The WNBA superstar asked all the journalists to get together so she could take a group photo on her film camera.

"I have a question. Can you guys all go stand over there? I'm going to get you on my film camera," Clark said as the media session wrapped up.

"You guys always take photos of me, so go over there. Act like you like each other," Clark continued. "You're going to smile for me. Smile big."

This fun moment captured the attention of fans on social media.

"This is part of the reason why she's who she is. She knows how to play the media perfectly. There's something about an athlete that's good at this," one fan wrote.

"A confident relaxed joking, Caitlin Clark? Oh yeah, year three is on," another said.

"This made me smile," another added.

"Awesome. Game changer in every aspect," another wrote.

Clark recently got into photography as a hobby. Last month, she attended an Indianapolis Pacers vs. Los Angeles Lakers matchup as a credentialed photographer - snapping shots of all-time great NBA superstar LeBron James.

Clark burst onto the WNBA scene as the Fever's No. 1 overall pick in 2024, winning Rookie of the Year following her historic debut campaign. Unfortunately, she only appeared in 13 games last season as she dealt with a variety of injury issues.

Clark said she "100% healthy" as she prepares for the 2026 WNBA season.

"Taking care of my body at this point in the season is probably the most important thing," Clark said earlier this week. "Whether that's recovery, whether that's pre-court treatment, whatever it is. I think it's those type of things."

The Fever will begin their preseason schedule with a matchup against the New York Liberty on April 25.
