Which grocery store has the best chicken, beef prices in Macon?
Grocery shopping is not always at the top of my list of things to get done, especially when I’m running low on cash. However, it makes me feel a bit better when stores run sales and have better deals on the essentials like chicken and beef.
According to the USDA Economic Research Service, the average prices of groceries have actually dropped since March, but numbers are still up 2% on average from last year. Eggs and poultry items have the highest increase in the last year, but beef prices have also steadily increased.
So, which stores in Macon have the best deals on chicken and beef right now? Let’s take a look.
