Carrie Preston began her acting career in the front yard of her Macon home as a young child, and that career took off when she landed roles in “The Tempest” on Broadway and the film “My Best Friend’s Wedding.”

Among Preston’s many television roles are the waitress Arlene Fowler on “True Blood,” lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni on “The Good Wife” and Grace, the love interest of real-life husband Michael Emerson’s character, on “Person of Interest.” An Emmy award winner, she has also been nominated for multiple Critics Choice Television Awards.
