LIVE: No. 5 Georgia faces No. 7 Baylor at Mercedes Benz Superdome for Sugar Bowl
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to take on the Baylor Bears in the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, La.
Kickoff is at 8:45 p.m. EST. The game will be televised on ESPN.
The Bulldogs are 11-2 after coasting to easy wins for the first half of the season, but eventually stumbling against South Carolina. The loss marked the Bulldogs’ first loss at home since 2016.
Georgia clinched the SEC East title for the third season in a row with a 21-14 win over the Auburn Tigers. But the Bulldogs faced defeat in the SEC Championship against the No. 1-ranked LSU Tigers, losing 37-10 in Atlanta.
The Baylor Bears head into the matchup with an 11-2 record.
