1. Clemson: Deshaun Watson leads a powerful offense once again, while the Tigers again turn to plenty of new faces on defense.

2. Florida State: The Seminoles won 10 games in 2015 but lost their stranglehold on the conference title to the Tigers.

3. Louisville: Quarterback Lamar Jackson is one of the most talented players in the conference and has the Cardinals right behind the conference’s two powerhouses.

4. North Carolina: Elijah Hood and the Tar Heels look for their second straight Coastal Division title.

5. Pittsburgh: James Conner’s return from cancer should give the Panthers a strong opportunity to take the next step in the conference.

6. Miami: Quarterback Brad Kaaya is a big piece for Mark Richt’s first season as the Hurricanes’ head coach.

7. Georgia Tech: After a year filled with injuries, the Yellow Jackets look to bounce back from a 3-9 season.

8. Virginia Tech: Justin Fuente takes over as the Hokies’ head coach.

9. N.C. State: The Wolfpack again have the bad luck of being in the same division with Clemson, Florida State at Louisville.

10. Duke: David Cutcliffe’s Blue Devils have won at least eight games the past three seasons.

11: Syracuse: Dino Babers enters his first season as the Orange’s head coach.

12. Virginia: Bronco Mendenhall left BYU to take over as the Cavaliers’ head coach.

13. Wake Forest: The Demons Deacons lost their final six games last season to finish 3-9.

14. Boston College: The Eagles were 0-8 in conference play last season.
