Drowning victim identified as Georgia dentist
The body of a south Georgia dentist was pulled from the Altamaha River early Monday.
Gary Lewis’ body was recovered a day after he was last seen, WTOC-TV reported.
A video captured at Jaycee Landing showed Lewis slip into the water about 10:30 a.m. Sunday while trying to catch his boat that had drifted away, according to Wayne County EMA.
Lewis is in his mid 60s and ran a dental practice in Jesup, the TV station reported.
