Georgia girl’s voice wows ‘America’s Got Talent’ judges
A 9-year-old girl from Atlanta appeared on “America’s Got Talent” Tuesday night, and the judges were blown away by her singing voice.
A video of Angelica Hale singing Andra Day’s “Rise Up” was posted to the show’s Facebook page and received nearly 7,600,000 views and over 169,000 shares.
Hale was a previous patient at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she was treated for an aggressive strep bacteria in her lungs, according to the young singer’s Facebook page. The hospital gave a shout out to Hale on its Twitter account before the show.
Hey, we know that incredible kid and that incredible voice. We're watching and cheering for you tonight, Angelica! https://t.co/9S7UemVdcH
