Free STEM family night planned at aviation museum
A host of free exploration activities await at the Museum of Aviation on April 14. The seventh annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Festival Family Night will be hosted by the Houston County school district from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Century of Flight Hangar.
The event is open to the community and will feature more than 40 interactive displays, including exercises in measuring angles and triangles, testing sound, investigating lasers, and making catapults and vortex circles.
The museum is at intersection of Ga. 247 and Booth Road in Warner Robins, next to Robins Air Force Base. For more information, visit museumofaviation.org.
