Perry Middle student wins second place in poster contest

Carl King, an eighth-grader at Perry Middle School, earned second place in the Georgia School Bus Safety Week Poster Contest. Students across Georgia entered the contest during National School Bus Safety week, Oct. 17-21. The “# Stop on Red!” theme reminded drivers to stop for school buses so students can get on and off safely. Heidi McBrair is King’s art teacher.
