Middle Georgia State to host black history performances
Middle Georgia State University is set to host a actress known for her portrayals of famous black women.
According to a news release from the university, Daisy Century “portrays African American Women who changed history.”
Her schedule of performances, which will be open to the public for $5 or free for MGSU students, is as follows:
▪ 7 p.m. Oct. 3, Warner Robins Campus, Walker Auditorium: Sojourner Truth.
▪ 3 p.m. Oct. 4, Eastman Campus, City of Eastman Room: Bessie Coleman.
▪ 7 p.m. Oct. 4, Cochran Campus, Georgia Hall President's Dining Room: Madam C.J. Walker.
▪ Noon Oct. 5, Macon Campus, Student Life Center Dining Hall: Harriet Tubman.
▪ 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6, Dublin Campus, Student Center: Madam C.J. Walker.
