Macon woman accused of whacking husband with candle holder; beer missing from fridge
Dispatches: According to a warrant, a woman in the 3400 block of Vineville Avenue in Macon was arrested for an alleged May 27 attack on her husband. The warrant said she struck him in the back of the head with a ceramic candle holder. The blow opened a serious gash, but the man has apparently recovered. . . . On May 12, a Macon man called the cops to report that a guy he knows only as “Woo Woo” had taken $360 from him. The theft, as a Bibb County sheriff’s report put it, happened by “some unknown means.” . . . In early May, a man who lives on Nottingham Drive in east Macon told the police that someone cut a hole in his screen porch, went in his house and stole $14 worth of beer from a refrigerator. . . . Overheard on Bibb sheriff’s radio May 25: “It’s going to be a male asleep inside of a duplex. He does not live there.”
