Three Macon teens wounded in possible drive-by shooting

Three teenagers were wounded in an apparent drive-by shooting Friday night as they walked from the basketball courts on Hillcrest Avenue toward Hillyer and Beech avenues.

Jacques Stewart, 18, was shot in the arm. Ta’darrius Berrian, 18, was shot in the right leg. Ja’Corey Meadows, 17, was shot in the chest, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.

All three teens were listed in stable condition at a local hospital Saturday with non-life threatening injuries, according to the release.

Unionville residents called in reports of gunshots around the time of the shootings.

The victims were all driven to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, in private vehicles.
