Man arrested, truck recovered from Bolingbroke burglary
A man accused of stealing from a Bolingbroke business on Sunday was arrested Tuesday in Warner Robins, according to a Facebook post by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Court is accused of taking a black Chevrolet truck and other items from Herndon’s Auto on Sunday afternoon, the post said. A still image of the burglar from the store’s surveillance footage was distributed to numerous news outlets Monday.
Tuesday evening, Monroe County sheriff’s sergeants traveled to Warner Robins to follow up on tips provided by multiple callers about the burglary. They recovered the stolen pickup and other items that were taken during the burglary, the post said.
Court was arrested by Warner Robins police after a brief foot chase on Russell Parkway about 7 p.m., Monroe County sheriff’s Sgt. Lawson Bittick said.
