Bolingbroke burglar sought by Monroe County Sheriff’s Office

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with identifying a burglar whose image was captured on surveillance cameras outside an auto business in Bolingbroke on Sunday.

A distinctive looking white man, whose face can be seen clearly in still images taken from video surveillance outside Herndon’s Auto, stole a black 2003 Chevrolet S 10 ZR-2, according to a Facebook post by the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information about the identity of the man or whereabouts of the truck is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at 478-994-7043 ext. 242.
