Drive-by shooting suspect in Macon arrested Friday
A 37-year-old Macon man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on Friday in connection with a drive-by shooting on Lincoln Street where investigators discovered more than a dozen gun shell casings last month.
Harrison Delano Williams Jr., of Colquitt Street, is accused of shooting at a house in the 2400 block about 9 p.m. March 8 with an unnamed co-conspirator, according to a warrant for his arrest from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
Three adults and two minor children were in the house at the time, according to a previous news release from the sheriff's office. At least 15 shell casings were found in the yard and in the street after the shooting, the warrant said.
Deputy Clay Williams, a public information officer, was unable to say Tuesday night whether the unnamed co-conspirator had been identified or arrested.
