1 gunshot victim critical after 2 men were wounded at Macon apartments
A 25-year-old Macon man was shot in the chest early Monday while sitting in a car outside a west Macon apartment complex.
Just before 12:15 a.m., Justin Howe was hit as several shots were fired into the vehicle at Westminster Apartments at 1655 N. Atwood Drive, according to a Bibb County sheriff’s release.
Tamarcus Cole, 24, also was shot in the right leg.
The men said a man walked up to the car and started shooting, then ran away.
Howe and Cole were taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, where Howe was in critical condition and Cole was treated and released as of late Monday.
No description of the shooter was immediately available.
