Husband flees in Cadillac after allegedly shooting at wife and friend
An east Macon man faces charges after allegedly shooting at his estranged wife and her friend.
A temporary restraining order was in place against Willie Lee Daniel III, of a Mitchell Street address in Fort Hill, when he allegedly followed Kifaaya Muhammad as she left work on April 2, according to an arrest warrant.
Daniel, 30, was arrested just before 7 p.m. Friday and is charged with aggravated assault and aggravated stalking.
He allegedly fired about five shots at Muhammad and her friend, Early Willis Jr., as they drove off in a black, 1996 Ford Mustang GT near Millerfield Road and Laney Avenue.
After the shooting, Daniel got away in a gold Cadillac Fleetwood and was arrested more than two months later.
