Recap: Health officials discuss wave of toxic drug overdoses in Georgia
Overdoses of a drug that users believed to be the opioid Percocet have been reported in Centerville, Perry, Macon, Warner Robins and Albany. Dozens have been hospitalized, and some deaths could be tied to the drug.
Medical officials in Macon addressed the issue at a news conference at 2 p.m. at the Medical Center, Navicent Health.
