Masked gunmen rob Waffle House
Two masked men with guns robbed a west Macon Waffle House early Thursday.
At about 2:45 a.m., one of the men pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
After getting the cash, the robbers left from the back door of the all-night restaurant at 5146 Mercer University Drive near Interstate 475.
No one was hurt, although the staff was shaken up as they met with a manager before they reopened early Thursday.
The suspects are described as young black males. One wore a goldish hooded jacket and the other had on a gray hooded top with recurring dark images that could not be clearly seen in the photo.
