Victim identified in Warner Robins homicide

Warner Robins police have confirmed that a death Saturday was a homicide and released the name of the victim.

An initial release stated that the death was a “possible homicide” but a statement Sunday morning identifying the victim called it a homicide.

The victim was identified at Elliott Mizell, 55. Officers were called to the scene at Villa North Court at 8:49 a.m. Saturday. Online records show that Mizell lived on Villa North Court.

“To protect the integrity of our ongoing investigation additional details will not be released at this time,” the release stated.
