Two men arrested in Warner Robins carjacking
Two of three men sought in a Warner Robins carjacking were jailed without bond Friday.
Michael Gary Bonamo, 27, of Macon, and Curtis Lane Croft, 23, of Lizella, are charged with one count each of hijacking a motor vehicle and aggravated assault in the 4:10 a.m. carjacking at Woodcrest Apartments in the 100 block of Woodcrest Circle.
Croft and Bonamo were booked into the jail at 8:38 p.m. Thursday in connection with the carjacking, jail records show.
Croft is accused of hitting a 54-year-old man in the face with a pistol and pulling him out of the vehicle during the carjacking, according to an arrest warrant.
Bonmao is accused of striking another victim, a 37-year-old man, hitting him in the face and causing his right eye to bleed and swell, according to an arrest warrant.
A Warner Robins police report also lists another victim, a 43-year-old woman, in the carjacking that occurred in the parking the lot area of the apartment complex, the report said.
The report narrative states only that the Warner Robins police officer was dispatched to the area of Woodcrest Apartments in reference to shots fired.
Police released a surveillance video of suspects in the carjacking. Two men were shown on the video. A police news release issued with the video Monday said a victim of the carjacking reported that three men were involved in the crime.
