AT&T maintenance work will silence thousands of landline telephones
Warner Robins AT&T customers will lose landline service briefly during the early morning of March 25.
The Warner Robins Police Department issued a release Monday morning that explains the outage due to maintenance on the central office switch.
About 7,500 customers will lose service for up to 5 minutes beginning about 12:01 a.m. that Saturday morning.
There will be no dial tone during the maintenance, which will not affect cellphones.
