Library book lovers should stock up before the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend

Frequent patrons of the public library in Houston County might need to adjust their schedules.

All branches in Houston County will be closed for staff training and upgrades to the PINES system on Jan. 13-14, according to a news release.

The libraries will remain closed through Jan. 16, which is the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The buildings will reopen Jan. 17.
