District attorney to hold news conference about shooting of Peach deputies

A news conference is planned for 5 p.m. Tuesday concerning Ralph Stanley Elrod, who is suspected of shooting two Peach County deputies Sunday. The news conference will take place at the Bibb County District Attorney’s Office in Macon.

Sgt. Patrick Sondron was killed and Deputy Daryl Smallwood was wounded in the gunfire.
