2 charged in Fort Valley shooting outside hot wings joint

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting outside a Fort Valley restaurant.

Quintavious Ross, 24, of Macon and Christopher Wheeler, 28, of Fort Valley are charged with aggravated assault, according to a post on the public safety department’s Facebook page.

Maurice Brown, 43, was shot in the parking lot at Miss Jackee’s Hot Wings Shoppe on Orange Street about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

A fight started at the QTs sports bar and spilled into the parking lot of Miss Jackee’s, which is across the street, police say.
