Houston County repaving may affect commutes
Drivers in Houston County may have their routes affected by road work for the next several days.
The Georgia Department of Transportation plans to pave Ga. 96 between Lake Joy Road and Moody Road, with work scheduled from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Thursday night through Sept. 30.
A flagging system will be in place to direct traffic, but motorists are still asked to pay “special attention” in the area, according to a news release.
