Byron now on a curfew as Tropical Storm Irma pelts Middle Georgia
The city of Bryon is now under a curfew, thanks to Tropical Storm Irma.
Byron’s curfew is set to end at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
“Only essential travel for medical and work reasons are allowed until that time,” according to a Byron Fire Department Facebook post.
Dooly County’s curfew is set to end at noon Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Macon-Bibb County EMA says worst of Irma now underway for Middle Georgia.
People are asked to stay off the roads, authorities say.
Dooly County and Unadilla will be under a curfew starting 200 pm today until 12 pm tomorrow. This is per Dooly Sheriff, EMA,
