2 people killed in rural highway crash with semi

Two people died Monday night in a crash in Houston County.

Coroner Danny Galpin said the identities of the victims have not been released, but that a man and woman were killed when their car pulled out from a side street in front of a tractor trailer on Ga. 96.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash, but no further details were immediately available.
