Overnight tornado watch issued for some Middle Georgia counties

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in several Middle Georgia counties, including Bibb, Jones, Monroe and Crawford.

The watch, issued at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday is scheduled to last until 2 a.m. Thursday.

All areas included in the watch are: Bibb, Butts, Chattahoochee, Clayton, Coweta, Crawford, DeKalb, Fayette, Gwinnett, Harris, Heard, Henry, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, Marion, Meriwether, Monroe, Morgan, Muscogee, Newton, Pike, Putnam, Quitman, Rockdale, Spalding, Stewart, Talbot, Taylor, Troup, Upson, Walton and Webster.
