Major blaze burning in Macon’s Allied Industrial Park

Macon-Bibb County firefighters are battling a commercial blaze off Guy Paine Road.

Thick black smoke rose into the sky at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday as the commercial structure caught fire in the Allied Industrial Park. A fire investigator on the scene was not sure what building it is, but it is fully engulfed.
