Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers to open in Macon

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is set to open in Plantation Village shopping center on Zebulon Road in late summer, making the second franchise Middle Georgia.

The 3,000 square-foot, free-standing eatery will include a patio and a drive-thru, Freddy’s said in a news release Tuesday. The building will be able to accommodate 95 people at once.

The first restaurant opened last year on Lake Joy Road in Kathleen.

Freddy’s is known for it’s lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and desserts with frozen custard.
