Nancy Grace hopes to maintain "Dancing" momentum
Nancy Grace already has her Halloween planned.
She’s going to be dancing the night way.
Grace, the Macon native and legal analyst who hosts a show on CNN Headline News, hopes to build on her momentum as she heads into Week 7 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” tonight.
Grace and her professional partner, Tristan MacManus, are coming off their best performance of the competition last week. They were awarded a season-high 24 points from the three judges and had enough viewer votes to be one of the six remaining couples. The other five celebrities still standing are actor David Arquette, soccer star Hope Solo, actor J.R. Martinez, actress Ricki Lake and actor Rob Kardashian.
Grace said she and MacManus will be dancing the “jive” tonight. She will also be involved with a team tango.
“The jive is a super-fast, jacked-up swing,” she said. “We will be dancing to a song that Macon, Ga., will love. You will see!”
She said the show obviously has a Halloween theme for tonight.
“We will all be tricked out in Halloween costumes,” she said. “It has been a grueling week learning two dances, working and taking care of the twins, but I am hanging in there. When we take to the floor, I will think of home. I am so grateful for the love and support. And, of course, the votes.”
