Pet of the week: Sal
Kitty City Cat Rescue (kittycitymacon@yahoo.com; 478-305-7799; Facebook): Sal is a special needs kitty. He’s older (about 4 years) and is prone to developing urinary crystals. He had surgery to widen his urethra in hopes to improve the condition, but still has to eat a urinary formula veterinary diet. He is a longtime resident and volunteer favorite. He’s quite a character — if ever a cat needed to wear a studded collar and sport a mohawk, it’s Sal.
