Mercer women’s soccer team shuts out Presbyterian
The Mercer women’s soccer team scored three goals in three minutes early in the first half to beat Presbyterian 4-0 on Sunday.
Emma Tokuyama opened up the scoring in the 15th minute, and less than a minute later, Maddie Clark added her Southern Conference-leading fourth goal of the season. Logan Culver added the third goal in the 18th minute, and Annie Barrett finished the scoring in the second half.
While the offense was strong, Leah Cochran and Cristina Marsuli combined for Mercer’s second shutout of the season. The Bears (2-4) host Troy on Friday.
