Crawford County

Key story lines: The Eagles have plenty of momentum coming off their best season in 16 years, and they will return to region play after several seasons of playing a non-region schedule.

FPD

Players to watch: Thomas McBride (OL); Torrian Bradley-McSwain (DB/WR); E.J. Tobler (OL/DL); Denson Martin (OL/DE).

Key story lines: The Vikings have to replace a three-year starter at quarterback in Will McCormick, leading rushers Reggie Gantt and Dontrez Johnson and leading receiver Daniel Weaver.

Houston County

2015 record: 11-2.

Spring practice dates: April 25-May 6.

Players to watch: Jake Fromm (QB); Mack McCullough (LB/RB); Eli Watson (DB/WR); Kordarius Melton (DL/OL); Amari Colbert (LB/WR); Trey Hill (DL/OL); Andrew Brown, (DB/WR); Tucker Coody (OL/DL).

Key story lines: Fromm is heading into his senior season as he prepares to head to Georgia after his Bears career.

Howard

2015 record: 6-4.

Players to watch: Gabe Howard (OL-DL); Daniel Allen (C); Jerin Means (WR); Kyle Pioli (LB).

Key story lines: The Huskies have to replace starters at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, linebacker, free safety and cornerback, but they have plenty of young talent.
