Mercer lands graduate transfer J.J. N’ganga
ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reported Monday night that New Mexico graduate transfer J.J. N’ganga will join the Mercer basketball program.
Telegraph sources confirmed the move.
N’ganga, who will have one season with the Bears, is a 6-foot-10, 240-pound center who sat out the 2015-16 season with an injury. In 2014-15, he appeared in 29 games and averaged 12 minutes per game. N’ganga played two seasons at Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa.
He is from Aubersville, France, and is a member of the French national team.
N’ganga will be the third transfer this offseason to join the Bears. Ria’n Holland transfered from Indian Hills, and and Rashad Lewis transfered from Tallahassee Community College.
