Mercer men look to snap two-game losing streak at Furman

The Mercer men's basketball team has a quick turnaround as it tries to end a two-game losing streak.

And the Bears will face one of the Southern Conference's hottest teams Saturday when they travel to Furman, which has won seven of its past eight games. The Paladins are 16-11 overall and 10-4 in conference play and have won nine straight home games, while the Bears are 18-8 overall and 8-5 in the conference after losing 79-70 to Wofford on Thursday. Mercer has not lost three straight games this season.

Mercer once will again be without starters Jestin Lewis and Desmond Ringer. They were suspended Feb. 6 and have missed the past three games.
