Mercer volleyball beats Troy in home opener

After spending the first three weekends on the road, the Mercer volleyball team won its home opener Tuesday, beating Troy 3-1.

Mercer earned the win by a 25-23, 13-25, 25-21, 28-26 score. Morgan MacGilvary had her third double-double of the season with a team-high 13 kills to go along with 10 digs, four blocks and an ace.

Mercer (2-7) hosts South Carolina State on Saturday.
