Breaking down projections for NCAA Tournament

The NCAA Baseball Tournament is coming up in June. Here’s a breakdown of several projections of the field.

Mercer is included in these projections as the Southern Conference’s automatic bid. The Bears won the conference’s regular-season title for the third straight season.

The conference tournament begins Tuesday in Greenville, South Carolina.

Baseball America’s field has Mercer as a No. 3 seed and includes Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Kentucky and LSU from the SEC and Louisville, North Carolina, Clemson, Wake Forest, Florida State, Virginia and N.C. State from the ACC.
