Western 10s softball team named

The team members from the Western Little League 10-year-old softball league that will represent the league in state tournament play have been named.

The players are Riley Mullis, Bailey Carreker, Hannah Smith, Lola Newberry, Lindsey Paul, Emma Phillips, Hannah Scott, Ciara Passmore, Lacey Caldwell, Kaylin Nipper, Destiny Lucas, Paige Gray and Graci Kluge.

Al Gray, Daniel Carreker and Robert Passmore form the coaching staff.

State tournament play begins July 9 at Bartow County Little League in Cassville.
